Tire-Derived Fuel (TDF)
TDF is produced by shredding or chipping used tires into small pieces. It can be used as a fuel supplement in industrial processes, cement kilns, and power plants. TDF has a high calorific value, making it a viable energy source.
Tire-Derived Aggregate (TDA)
TDA is obtained by further processing shredded tires to create granules of various sizes. TDA can be used as a replacement for traditional aggregates in civil engineering projects, such as road construction, lightweight fill, and drainage systems.
Tire-Derived Carbon Black (TDCB):
Carbon black is a black powder produced from the incomplete combustion of hydrocarbons. When tires are recycled through pyrolysis, carbon black is one of the by-products. It can be used as a reinforcing filler in the production of tires and rubber products or as a pigment in inks and coatings.
Steel and Fiber
After the tire recycling process, steel wires and fiber materials are left as by-products. These materials can be recovered and recycled for use in various industrial applications, such as manufacturing new tires, construction materials, and reinforcing materials for concrete.
Gas
In tire pyrolysis, gas is produced along with tire-derived oil. This gas can be used as a fuel to power the pyrolysis process itself, reducing the need for external energy sources.
